Morganistik says: This pointy multi-pitch roof like a folded fan is a detail of Berlin TV tower base (Berliner Fernsehturm) by architects Walter Herzog et Heinz Aust. Former German Democratic Republic was the first country to build giant TV towers in concrete that became a prototype for many towers around the world.
Wouldn’t have thought of the Fernsehturm at all. But once you named it I got an idea what you were actually shooting ;)

It’s the pavilion surrounding the tower. When I walked around, I never thought to look straight up at that precise place, but there was a helicopter passing by, and I just loved those perfect and simple lines
