Morganistik says: GRAVITY (physics) the force of attraction between all masses in the universe; especially the attraction of the earth’s mass for bodies near its surface; “the more remote the body the less the gravity”; “the gravitation between two bodies is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them”

“gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love” – Albert Einstein

Miss Désirée

Morganistik says: Back from Paris Fashion Week I had the impression that fur is back. But no one wears fur as well as Miss Désirée, this little fluffy rabbit I had the luck to meet at an art exhibition opening yesterday night.
If you are into the art/music/fashion life, you should meet her soon. I’m guessing she’s the new star in town. She’s literally a party animal and loves to explore the world with her human caretakers C.J. Rabbitt and Jack Kravitz.
Now what might surprise you is that Désirée with her little paws and help of C.J and Jack, writes books: “Un Lapin à Paris” which illustrates her life around famous Parisian monuments; “Désirée loves Dior” where she gives some expert fashion advice; “A Bunny in the Ballet” where she becomes the time of a book a ballerina.
She’s, between 2 cocktails invitations, finishing her book called “Désirée Loves New York” about of course the bunny in the Big Apple.
I should meet her again at a jazz concert soon and I’m curious to see her ears dancing on the music.
And my last message is: happy birthday Désirée!! 1 year old is a great age for a social rabbit, they won’t ask you your ID at the entrance of clubs now.

Jef Aerosol

Morganistik says: Jef Aerosol is one of my favorite street and stencil artist. If you love urban art you must certainly recognize his work.

3 years ago I sent him a groupie message saying I loved his work and took pictures of his stencils. So he told me he was in town and proposed me to follow him and shoot him while doing stencils. We ended spending 2 days and one surreal night around Paris .

As a photographer it’s a privilege to be able to follow an artist doing his art, and it gets even more special when this art is forbidden and you can get caught at each moment.

Tonight was the opening of his exhibition “Dans les yeux” at gallery Bailly Contemporain. You can/must visit it till the 30th October if you’re around Paris.

A man approched me during the opening and asked me about my photos and asked me if I got the book presented. So I said “not yet, I do have Jef Aerosol’s previous book though, but not this one.” And I added: “you should offer it to me!” And the man told me “well you just rang at the right door as I’m the editor of the book”. So we started a very cool chat about urban art, music and photography…

This editor called Opus Delits is specialized in urban artists and does a very cool serie of books at less than 10€. This post now sounds like a commercial but quality books at cheap prices are rare enough to be mentionned.
